About the role…
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Wakefield working within our Private Networks Division of Ipsum
You will lead the Projects Operational team within the Private Networks business, being fully accountable for H&S, Project Delivery, Customer Satisfaction and the Project Business P&L. To operate as a member of the Private Networks senior leadership team, building strong working relationships with your peers and driving positive change across the business. To work closely with the Engineering Manager (Projects) to ensure sufficient available and suitably skilled resource whilst maximising utilisation and work closely with the Sales Leaders to support key account planning, broadening and deepening customer relationships and ensuring high quality delivery.
Previous experience working in the High Voltage industry is essential for this position
As a Operational Manager you will….
Ensure the Project Team operates at the highest standards of Health & Safety. Drive Project business growth and profitability, convert orders into revenue to meet financial targets maximising variations and profitability. Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent project delivery throughout the contractual chain and compliance with Ipsum processes and driving of continuous improvement. Manage resources effectively to maximise utilisation. Take ownership of working capital management and cash collection to ensure strong cashflow. Lead, Develop and Motivate the Projects Team to ensure talent retention, personal development and high level of engagement.
